youmex arranges project financing of a solar power plant in Czech Republic

youmex AG, Frankfurt arranged a bridge financing scheme for a photovoltaic solar power plant in the Czech Republic with an output of 5.1 MWp for Solarstrom AG (WKN 702100, ISIN DE0007021008), Freiburg. The investment volume exceeds EUR 20 million. .

S.A.G. Solarstrom AG built a 5.1 MWp photovoltaic plant on a greenfield site in Kameničná, east of Prague, Czech Republic. Q-Cells solar modules and the new Kaco inverter Powador XP350-HV TL were installed.
With an average annual global radiation of 1060 kWh/m², an average specific annual yield of 1028 kWh/kWp is forecast for this location. An average annual output of 5254 MWh will be reached with this plant size.

The construction of the solar power plant was refinanced with S.A.G. Solarstrom AG’s own funds for the benefit of the project company. These own funds were cashed out by the project financing funds and quickly reimbursed to S.A.G. "Considering the current insecurity regarding the tariff situation in the Czech Republic, the task was definitely demanding. However, through youmex we were able to swiftly acquire financing from a bank consortium, with which we had already implemented other financing schedules, complete the transaction successfully and carry out the disbursement," says Kai Hartmann, Head of Structured Finance of youmex AG.
